Beef and Barley item
Beef and Barley

In a large saucepan combine 8-10 cups of hot water with contents of package. Bring to a boil and add 1 pound cooked and drained lean ground beef. Cover and simmer for 35 minutes.

Potato Cheddar item
Potato Cheddar

Bring 10 cups water to boil (optional: half milk, half water). Add contents of package and mix well.

Optional: add diced, chopped or shredded ham and broccoli.

Simmer for 20-25 minutes stirring occasionally.

OPTIONAL: Serve with crumbled bacon, chives and sour cream.

Mexican Taco item

In a large saucepan combine 10 cups water and top portion of package containing beans and lentils.

Cover and simmer for 1 hour.

Add remaining portion of package.

Optional: add 1 pound cooked lean ground beef and 28 oz. can diced tomatoes.

Dill Pickle item

In large pot melt 2 Tbsp. butter. Stir in 2 Tbsp flour to make a paste. Add 8-10 cups water and stir. Add contents of package stir and bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium low for 15-20 minutes stirring frequently. Add 2 Tbsp pickle juice and 1 cup diced pickles. Remove from heat and whisk in 1 cup milk. For thicker soup add 1 medium diced potato with contents of package.

Dill Pickle Gluten Free item

Add contents of the package to amount of water indicated on package back. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook for 15 minutes. 

Suggestion: Fill individual size oven safe bowls approx. 3/4 full with hot soup. Add crutons and a layer of Swiss Cheese. Broil in oven until cheese is melted and bubbling or slightly browned. ENJOY!

Remove 2 cups of hot broth and slowly add and whisk into 2 previouisly whisked eggs.

Rweturn egg mixture into pot and stir. Reduce heat to simmer.

Add 2-3 TBSP of lemon juicea and 1 pound of cooked diced chicken breast. Simmer 30-35 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Optional: add diced celery 5 minutes before cooking time is finished.

Optional: Garnish with chopped celery and cashews.

Cornmeal Muffins item

Preheat oven to 400 F. Add contents of package to mixing bowl. Lightly beat 2 eggs in separate bowl. Add 6 Tbsp of oil or melted, cooled butter with 1 cup milk to dry ingredients. Add eggs to dry mixture and gently stir. Do not over mix. Spoon batter into greased muffin tin. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes and serve warm.

Soft Vanilla Chocolate Chip Cookies item

Heat oven to 350F.

In  medium bowl mix  brown sugar from package with 1/2 cup butter. Add 1 beaten egg, 1/2 tsp vanilla and mix. Add the remaining contents of package and mix. Create balls and drop onto cookie sheet. For easy clean up line cookie sheet with parchment. Bake 10-11 minutes.

Grandma's Raisin Oatmeal Cookies item

Preheat oven to 350 Deg. F. In a mixing bowl, beat 1 egg, 1/4 C butter, and 1/2 tsp vanilla. Stir in contents of package until well mixed. Form into 1" balls and drop onto greased cooking sheet. Bake for 12-13 minutes.
