This event will bring together Indigenous representatives, government agencies, researchers, conservation authorities, industry, and community leaders to share knowledge, strengthen partnerships and establish meaningful commitments to action. On Monday August 10th, we have organized a special day for Indigenous Peoples and allies only to discuss our approach to caring and advocating for Kiawer&oacute;n:ko in the short and long term.&nbsp; On August 11th and 12th, the focus of this larger gathering will be to identify and advance coordinated immediate actions to address the most urgent conservation priorities and current threats; mid-term actions focused on strengthening management; and long-term actions to support the sustainable recovery of the &nbsp;Kiawer&oacute;n:ko.&nbsp;
