1UP Toronto is a youth conference that brings together secondary school students across Ontario to celebrate and incubate city-building ideas. The 2024 conference theme is Thrive: Planning The Year-Round City which is a dialogue between youth and city builders about how indoor and outdoor public spaces could bring joy/ happiness to everyone all year round. We will explore how to design and plan for improving the collective wellbeing of citizens, both young and old. Hosted by Urban Minds, the conference will take place on Saturday, March 23 & Sunday, March 24. If you have applied for overnight accommodations, you will receive an email for further instructions. If you live at least 50km away from Toronto Union Station and still wish to apply for overnight accommodations, you may request to be placed on a waitlist.
