Our online tickets are available at the normal rate.  Friends For Cause Foundation (FFCF) is pleased to invite you to The Joy of Giving, our Annual Charity Dinner, on September 24th, 2022, at the Khanna Banquet Hall, Surrey, BC. Doors open at 6 PM. We organize this dinner to update all our donors and volunteers on last year's project, next year's plans and to fundraise. The event allows us to come together, celebrate and be part of our heritage. It is about Giving Back to India. It is about applying the concept of Das-Vant (10%), an ancient practice in many cultures and religions of always giving at least 10% of your income towards charity and social work.  FFCF is an organization that provides free Cataract eye surgeries and Eye Glasses for underprivileged people in Urban + Rural slums. India has the world's HIGHEST blind population - of which almost half is preventable. Our goal is to help break the cycle of poverty  - and to keep people from entering it, too. Your generosity will make a lasting impact on these people's lives. Our goal for this event is to raise enough for 2100+ surgeries, beating last year's figure of 1600+ free surgeries! Hello, First name Ji, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking an interest in our Annual Charity Event, The Joy of Giving. We hope you will enjoy Friends For Cause Foundations (FFCF) volunteer-led event, and I look forward to meeting you!  This event is truly about the spirit of giving- of true charity work, in which there are no expectations, no rewards, just the Joy of knowing you have done the right thing and made a positive difference in the world. We offer our donors our gratitude and will show them how we have changed lives with their support.  At this event, we will give presentations on last year's project (1600+ free cataract surgeries provided in camps held over 7,000 KM of India) and outline our plans for the year ahead (2100+ free surgeries is our goal!). We will also discuss our long-term project to build Charity Hospitals in India.  It's not all presentations, though! We have plenty of performances planned for your enjoyment, from dancing to singing, all by volunteers who excel in their domains! As a reminder, FFCF has No Overheads. No Profits.
