EWAKA creates a&nbsp;brave-safe, affirming, and culturally grounded space for 2SLGBTIQ+ communities and allies to exchange knowledge, share stories, and empower the community. Rooted in an ethnocultural, decolonized, and holistic approach, EWAKA reflects the interconnectedness of cultures, histories, and peoples. It draws on ancestral practices that affirm the inherent worth, resilience, and self‑determination of Black and racialized 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, encouraging participants to value and accept one another fully across identities, experiences, and backgrounds. This year&rsquo;s theme is &ldquo;Equipping Our Future.&rdquo;&nbsp;Through intentional programming, cultural celebration, and inclusive engagement, the EWAKA Community Conference brings together diverse voices to build skills, strengthen intercultural relationships, and foster solidarity across communities.
