In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will learn how to “paint” with wool using needle felting techniques to create a textured 2D landscape. Inspired by scenes such as seascapes, sunsets, and mountains, participants will explore blending colours, layering fibres, and creating depth using wool roving and simple felting tools. Each participant will leave with a finished piece ready to frame and display.
What to Bring to the Workshop
No supplies are required. All materials needed to complete the project will be provided during the workshop.
Participants will have access to wool roving in a variety of colours, felting needles, felting pads, felt backing, and instructions. The wide selection of wool colours will allow each participant to create and customize their own unique needle-felted landscape piece.
Participants will leave with their completed artwork at the end of the workshop.
