His interest in the Great Lakes started with the book Paddle-to-the-Sea in Grade 1 and continued with his time on Lake Superior from the harbour at Silver Islet. Todd&rsquo;s passion for all things maritime, including shipping, lighthouses, and shipwrecks, was undoubtedly a catalyst for his post-retirement work as a Historian and Lecturer for Viking cruise ships on both the Great Lakes and around the world. About the Free Public Lecture SeriesThe Thunder Bay Museum&rsquo;s <a fr-original-style="" href="http://thunderbaymuseum.com/events/public-lectures/" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Free Public Lecture series&nbsp;</a>explores a wide range of topics connected to the history, people, communities, environment, and culture of Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario.
