This is a unique and enriching experience where you&rsquo;ll step back in time and discover the history of this land, going back hundreds&nbsp;of years, and learn how the Wendat people continue to&nbsp;preserve their traditions, culture, and way of life today. During this guided tour, you&rsquo;ll explore meaningful sites and discover fascinating traditional practices that are still important today. You&rsquo;ll visit the&nbsp;Long House, the traditional Wendat dwelling,&nbsp;and learn about daily life, social organization, and customs of the Wendat Nation. You&rsquo;ll also see the smokehouse and fish and meat dryer, where traditional food preservation methods and survival skills will be explained. The visit continues with the sweat lodge, where you&rsquo;ll learn about traditional purification practices used for spiritual and physical well-being. We&rsquo;ll also stop at the giant teepee, where you&rsquo;ll get a glimpse of the diversity and richness of Indigenous Nations.
