Join us for “HYPERSCALE” — an afternoon with author Paris Marx and local organizers confronting the rapid growth of AI data centres and the corporate power behind them. Together, we’ll look at how this expansion affects water, energy, communities, and our democracy. In the room we'll also have local organizers from Council of Canadians Edmonton Chapter, Public Interest Alberta, Climate Justice Edmonton, and SCAN! (Seniors for Climate Action Now!). This event is for people who are curious and concerned about where the AI data centre roll out is going. Learn what’s at stake from global, national, and local perspectives, and explore how collective action can protect our shared resources and public interest.
