Join us for “HYPERSCALE” — an evening with author Paris Marx and local organizers confronting the rapid growth of AI data centres and the corporate power behind them. Together, we’ll look at how this expansion affects water, energy, communities, and our democracy. Our conversation will be hosted by Jen St. Denis, reporter and editor with The Tyee. We'll also be joined by local partners from No AI Vancouver, and UBC's Centre for Climate Justice. This event is for people who are curious and concerned about where the AI data centre roll out is going. Learn what’s at stake from global, national, and local perspectives, and explore how collective action can protect our shared resources and public interest.
