EDAM is thrilled to host guest artist Jonathan Brussolo (Argentina-Mexico) for a 4-day workshop series running May 11th to 14th. THURRSDAY EVENING CLASS6:30PM - 8:00PM Open for all levels. In this class, we will explore techniques that allow us to refine our internal listening of our bodies, our relationship with space, and our interactions with others.We will work on weight transfer at different levels.Exploring the roles of leader and follower, developing sensitive listening skills to be open to change and to clearly communicate our intentions through our bodies.Finally, we will utilize the principle of &quot;shared axis&quot; and how, by meeting at a midpoint, our bodies can create a shared axis and support, allowing us to move together and develop a moment of dance. Jonathan Brussolo (Argentina-Mexico) Jonathan has studied somatic education with various approaches and teachers since 2011. He has been teaching Contact Improvisation since 2013, and has produced workshops on this practice since 2014, including La Manzana de Paxton, the annual international CI festival on the coast of Oaxaca, Mexico, where he lives. Jonathan has shared his work on Contact Improvisation, Somatics, and Craniosacral Therapy at universities, festivals, and independent venues around the world: Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Mexico, Colombia, the United States, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Turkey.
