Join us for our Soldering Skills &amp; Kit-Building Workshop - a series of fun, hands-on sessions over 4-5 weeks where you&rsquo;ll learn soldering skills, and build real projects alongside fellow members! &nbsp; This workshop is exclusive to members of the Ottawa Amateur Radio Club. In the first workshop session, participants will learn about all the tools and consumables that they will need to purchase. &nbsp;In the next 3-4 sessions, participants will learn through hands-on activities to solder and de-solder wires, thru-hole components and surface-mount devices (SMD). &nbsp;They will also build at least one simple kit. &nbsp;By the end of this workshop, participants will have the confidence to successfully build electronic kits and homebrew projects. The $25 fee helps cover materials, supplies, and refreshments so we can keep offering great learning events like this. Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to sharpen their skills! Some Club tools can be made available if you don&#39;t have your own.
