While in the program youth also must participle various life skills workshops on a variety of topics ranging from: Life Integration, Job readiness, SMART Goals, Financial Literacy, Emotional Regulation, 1:1 mentorship and academic support The goal of the program is to act as a community based intervener for systems change to divert youth at risk, in the hopes of reintegrating them back into school and/or the workforce at a later date (10-16 months)Skills at Work provides landscaping and other trade services withinRegion of Peel. &nbsp;We hire youth and intervene before they fall into severe school issues or the criminal system.
