Role Overview:

As a Face Painter for Positively Vegan, you will help create a fun, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere at our community events and VegFest celebrations. Your creative skills will bring joy to children and families, while supporting our mission to empower and educate people about plant-based living through positive experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-organized face painting station
• Paint faces primarily for children using safe, hypoallergenic, vegan-friendly paints (provided)
• Engage with children and families in a friendly, patient, and compassionate manner
• Promote inclusivity and positivity in interactions
• Follow event safety, hygiene, and cleanliness protocols
• Communicate with the event coordinator regarding supplies, timing, and support needs
• Assist with event setup and takedown as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience with face painting or other artistic activities preferred, but not required
• Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children
• Comfortable interacting with kids of different ages and personalities.
• Commitment to Positively Vegan’s values: compassion, sustainability, and inclusivity
• Willingness to use only vegan and cruelty-free products
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate clearly

Time Commitment:

• Shifts are typically 2–4 hours during event days (dates and times vary by event)
