LXCL:Include us in your Will

Your Legacy

Don’t let the gilded frame fool you. This is no billionaire philanthropist. This is an ordinary donor who’s included a charitable gift in their Will. Nothing extreme, just a small percentage for a cause they love. A simple gesture that will make an extraordinary impact one day. Now put yourself in that picture. Get your own instant portrait, a fun way to picture your legacy. <a fr-original-style="" href="https://portrait.willpower.ca/will-power/home>" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Create Your Portrait here! Why are we talking about Wills? Because many Canadians don’t realize how much good they can do with theirs. Even 1% in your Will to The Circle of Turtle Lodge could be enough to allow us to sustain our land-based Cultural Reclamation programs on our local Legacy Land. It costs you nothing today, and you still leave the vast majority to family in the future. Gifts in Wills put the power of philanthropy in the hands of the many. It’s why we’ve joined Will Power - a national campaign bringing together charities, financial advisors and legal professionals all getting the word out. Over the coming months, we'll show you how gifts in Wills work, tax benefits you may not know about, and how to get started if you’re interested.
