Forever Loved. Forever Remembered. On 21 October 2026, our beautiful Nabila, affectionately known as Jojo, sadly passed away at just 15 years old. Although her life was far too short, the kindness and compassion she showed during her lifetime continue to inspire something truly special. ✨ 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗕𝗘𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗝𝗢𝗝𝗢'𝗦 𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 During her time in hospital, Jojo did something beautiful. She donated special projector lights to bring colour, comfort and moments of happiness to patients in hospital. They were known as "𝗝𝗼𝗷𝗼'𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀." Even while facing her own challenges, Jojo was thinking about how she could brighten someone else's day. When Banna Al Khayri proposed renaming its orphan sponsorship programme in her honour, we suggested several names to her mother. One of them was "𝗝𝗼𝗷𝗼'𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀." At the time, we had no idea about the lights Jojo had donated to the hospital. It was only after her mother chose this name that we learned about Jojo's beautiful act of kindness and the significance of those words. It was a deeply moving connection. During her lifetime, Jojo brought light and comfort to patients in hospital. Now, through her legacy, that light will continue reaching orphaned children in Gaza. With her family's blessing, we are honoured to announce that Banna Al Khayri's entire orphan sponsorship programme has been renamed: ✨ 𝗝𝗢𝗝𝗢'𝗦 𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 ✨ "Lighting little lives with love and hope." 💗 𝟭𝟮 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗡 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗔𝗡 𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗥𝗘 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥 What began as a small fundraising campaign with a target of £600 to support one orphaned child in Gaza has grown beyond anything we initially imagined. Through the generosity and compassion of so many wonderful people, 𝟭𝟮 𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 have now had an entire year of financial support funded in Jojo's memory. Twelve children, each receiving twelve months of support to help with essential everyday needs. And this is only the beginning. 💗 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧 𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗘: £𝟭𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 At the request of Jojo's family, our fundraising target has been increased to £10,000, with the hope of supporting even more orphaned children in Gaza. Every contribution helps: • £𝟱𝟬 – One month of support for an orphaned child • £𝟲𝟬𝟬 – One full year of support for one child • £𝟭,𝟴𝟬𝟬 – One full year of support for three children • £𝟯,𝟬𝟬𝟬 – One full year of support for five children • £𝟲,𝟬𝟬𝟬 – One full year of support for ten children At £600 per child, our £10,000 milestone can fund 16 complete annual sponsorships, with a further £400 towards additional orphan support. 🌸 𝗔 𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗖𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗨𝗘 Jojo's Little Lights is more than a memorial fundraiser. It is now the name of Banna Al Khayri Relief & Development's entire orphan sponsorship programme in Gaza. Through this programme, we provide regular financial assistance to orphaned children and their caregivers, helping families meet essential needs during extraordinarily difficult circumstances. As the programme continues, we hope to support more children and share appropriate updates about the difference these sponsorships make, while always respecting the children's dignity and privacy. The number of children supported will depend on the donations available, but Jojo's name will remain at the heart of this programme. We hope this lasting legacy brings some comfort to her family, knowing that the kindness Jojo showed during her lifetime continues to make a meaningful difference to children who need our support. 💗 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗞𝗘𝗘𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗝𝗢𝗝𝗢'𝗦 𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 To everyone who has donated, shared this campaign, offered kind words or remembered Jojo and her family in their thoughts and prayers, thank you. There is no pressure or expectation to donate. Every gesture of kindness is deeply appreciated. May Allah grant our beautiful Nabila His infinite mercy and the highest ranks of Jannatul Firdaus, and bring peace, comfort and strength to her family. Ameen. 🤲🏽🤍 ✨ 𝗝𝗢𝗝𝗢'𝗦 𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 ✨ Lighting little lives with love and hope. 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟱. 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱.
