Prospect Burma

LXCL:Since 1989, Prospect Burma has expanded access to international higher education for young people from Myanmar, supporting those affected by conflict, displacement, poverty and discrimination. We have supported over 1,700 scholarship students and hundreds more through post-secondary programmes. Today, we continue to respond to Myanmar’s changing needs through innovative education initiatives, including the country’s first national online scholarship programme, launched in 2023.

A relaxed, hands-on watercolour workshop led by artist Ohn Mar Win, focused on building practical painting skills in colour mixing, composition, and working from real-life reference, using Burmese vegetables as inspiration. Suitable for all levels, this intimate session offers the opportunity to learn directly from a leading illustrator in a welcoming creative setting. Burmese tea and light snacks will be served during the session. Each element of the evening offers a window into a culture shaped by community, resilience, and hope. Myanmar Alive: Art for Opportunity - Feast for the Senses
