Beginner Welder Sessions introduce you to the basics of safe, hands-on welding 🔧. No experience is needed; we&rsquo;ll guide you through equipment setup, simple joints, and core safety practices step by step. We strongly suggest you book a minimum of 3 weeks (9 hours) as anything less is generally too little to learn anything meaningful unless you have some prior experience. By registering, you&rsquo;re joining Forge and Equip&#39;s mission to equip people with practical skills that build confidence, independence, and new opportunities in work and everyday life. Please complete the online form you will receive a link to after booking so that we can ensure we keep you safe and manage any adaptations you may require. Zeffy will offer you a chance to contribute to this platform if you so wish but there is no need from our side to do that.

We usually tell people to head for the Bostock Bakery, East Linton but take the track road across from the entrance to the bakery car park. You will see the old steading building straight ahead. Follow the track to the left and you will see a more modern building with flat, red roof. Feel free to park in front of or behind the entrance to that building and we will be looking out for you. The workshop is 1 minute from the X7 bus route and a 10 minute walk from East Linton train station.
