Forge and Equip's Shop

Beginner Welder Sessions introduce you to the basics of safe, hands-on welding 🔧. No experience is needed; we&rsquo;ll guide you through equipment setup, simple joints, and core safety practices step by step. We strongly suggest you book a minimum of 3 hours as anything less is generally too little to learn anything meaningful unless you have some prior experience. By registering, you&rsquo;re joining Forge and Equip&#39;s mission to equip people with practical skills that build confidence, independence, and new opportunities in work and everyday life. Please complete the online form you will receive a link to after booking so that we can ensure we keep you safe and manage any adaptations you may require. Zeffy will offer you a chance to contribute to this platform if you so wish but there is no need from our side to do that.

Beginner Welder Sessions

Young Makers Sessions introduce young people to the basics of metalwork in a safe, supervised workshop 🔧. Guided by experienced staff and volunteers, participants learn how to handle tools, follow safety steps, and complete simple welded projects. By joining, your young person gains practical skills, confidence, and a sense of achievement that supports Forge and Equip&#39;s mission to build resilience and positive contributions to the community through hands-on learning 📚. Sessions are limited to 2 people at a time to ensure we give adequate attention to our learners.&nbsp; We ask parents/guardians to please complete the online form to which you will receive a link in your booking confirmation.&nbsp; Zeffy will offer you a chance to contribute to this booking platform if you so wish but there is no need from our side to do that.
