&ldquo;Giving Pain a Name: Does Diagnosis Help?&rdquo; explores how labels such as fibromyalgia, hypermobile EDS, neuropathic pain, as well as autism and ADHD, shape treatment, communication, and daily life. This event brings together clinicians, researchers, and people living with pain to look closely at when diagnosis supports care &ndash; and when it may fall short. The North British Pain Association is a charitable organisation of professionals with an interest in scientific pain management, whose aim is to promote education and research to encourage a greater awareness of the importance of pain management.&nbsp; The Biannual Scientific Meetings are aimed at people working with people who live with chronic pain, as well as people with lived experiences of pain, living and working within the North of England and Scotland.&nbsp; In line with the North British Pain Association&rsquo;s mission, we will share practical insights, current evidence, and real experiences to improve understanding, guide conversations, and strengthen person‑centred pain management.
