California, the landmark United States Supreme Court case that successfully laid the foundation for the challenge to California&rsquo;s Alien Land Law. It has significance to our San Diego community because it involved Kajiro Oyama, a Japanese American farmer, who purchased land in Chula Vista in the 1930s. Since 1978, Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego (PALSD) has been a unifying voice of the Asian Pacific American legal community. We develop leaders, educate the community, and empower APA legal professionals.
