US Army Major Dwayne Williams was serving at the Pentagon in  Washington, DC, on September 11th, 2001. His day began like most other days at the headquarters of the US Department of Defense, where he read overnight reports, checked the Early Bird Briefing, or perhaps attended an early morning meeting. It was all routine. We were at peace, after all.  After news of the first two hijacked airliners struck the twin towers of the World Trade Center, those defending our nation from the Pentagon more than likely went on some level of alert, putting all the news stations up on every available TV, gathering information, gathering intelligence on why we were being, and by whom? The hijacked flight was traveling so fast that security cameras barely caught the blur as extremists continued their attack on the United States.
