Dear Community Members, September is National Recovery Month, and we invite you to join us in our Shine a Light on Recovery campaign as part of Light Up Jay County.This campaign recognizes and celebrates individuals, families, businesses, and community members who support recovery and bring hope to others. Funds raised will help purchase the lightbulbs used throughout Jay County during Recovery Month to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and remind our community that recovery is possible.There are several ways to participate:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Business Donations &ndash; Show your support for recovery and help strengthen our community.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Personal Donations &ndash; Help us expand awareness and celebrate recovery throughout Jay County.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Donations in Honor or Memory of Someone &ndash; Honor an individual in recovery, a loved one lost to substance use, a recovery advocate, or someone who has made a positive impact on your life. With permission, those being honored will be highlighted through our Shine a Light on Recovery social media campaign.</li></ul>Donations must be received by July 31, 2026. Photos, stories, and remembrance items for those being honored are due by August 7, 2026. We will also host Brighter Than the Silence, an Overdose Awareness Memorial, on August 28, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Hudson Park.
