In the foreground, people sit in chairs facing a stage, while the background shows a large gathering in a well-lit room with a wooden floor.

Community doesn't happen automatically. It happens in rooms where people choose to show up — for workshops, for celebrations, for learning, for each other. B2MC creates those rooms in Bedford-Stuyvesant, and your support keeps them open. The Community Events Fund supports the full spectrum of B2MC gatherings: neighborhood info sessions, program open houses, youth enrichment Saturdays, wellness workshops, leadership forums, cultural celebrations, and special initiatives like the Women of Purpose Gathering. These events are always free to attend because access should never be a barrier to belonging. Behind every free community event is a real cost — space, food, materials, facilitation, printing, setup, and the staff time that makes it run. Your gift to the Community Events Fund covers those costs so that every person who walks through the door experiences the full quality of what B2MC builds. What your gift does:

$50 covers printed materials and supplies for one community event

$150 helps feed attendees at a neighborhood gathering

$300 sponsors a full community workshop — space, facilitation, and materials

$750 underwrites a major community event from planning to execution

$2,000 funds a full season of monthly community programming

Every gathering plants a seed. Thank you for helping us water it.
