Thanksgiving Food Drive for Families Affected by AutismWe are raising funds to provide Thanksgiving meals and essential food items to families affected by autism who are experiencing food insecurity.Thanksgiving should be a time for family, food, fun, and football. Unfortunately, many families struggle to afford groceries and may face long wait times at local food pantries during the holiday season. We want to help ease that burden by providing families with access to nutritious food in a welcoming, supportive, and sensory-friendly environment.Along with our Thanksgiving food giveaway, we plan to host a Sensory-Friendly Touch-a-Truck event, creating an inclusive and enjoyable experience for children and families while helping meet an essential need in our community.Funds raised will go toward purchasing turkeys, nonperishable food items, autism-friendly and familiar foods, and fresh fruit. Our goal is to ensure that families can enjoy a Thanksgiving meal together without the added stress of food insecurity.Every donation makes a difference. With your support, we can bring comfort, nourishment, inclusion, and holiday joy to families who need it most.
