Earthkin Nature School put down roots in early 2025, but the belief behind our mission runs deeper than the organization itself: that access to nature is a birthright, essential to raising well-balanced humans, and for too many families, a matter of justice. We&#39;re a Richmond-based nonprofit offering nature-based, mixed-age preschool programming for children ages 3&ndash;5, guided by child-led exploration that nurtures the whole child and a lifelong relationship with the natural world. But underneath the programming, we&#39;re really building something bigger: a community woven together through shared time outdoors, shared care, and shared responsibility for each other and the land.
