For almost 50 years, The Acorn School has been a place where children are known, encouraged, and given the space to grow. Today, our community serves more than 150 children from preschool through second grade, with plans to continue growing through fifth grade at our Tall Oaks campus. As a nonprofit school, we are committed to maintaining the small class sizes, low student-teacher ratios, hands-on learning, and meaningful experiences that define the Acorn way. Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of providing this kind of education, leaving an annual operating gap of more than $100,000 that is made possible through the generosity of our families, alumni, and friends. This is an especially meaningful time in our school&#39;s story. With the addition of Tall Oaks, we are investing in the future of Acorn&mdash;creating new learning spaces, strengthening our campuses, expanding opportunities for children, and building a foundation for generations to come. The Acorn Fund helps provide the resources, experiences, and opportunities that allow our school to grow while staying rooted in what matters most. From classroom materials and enrichment to outdoor learning, campus improvements, and long-term growth, every gift plays a part in strengthening our community. Like the rings of a great oak tree, each gift becomes part of something larger.
