Six people smile behind a large stack of lumber in a sunny outdoor area with green trees and a wooden fence.

At Dykes With Drills, we come together to learn how to build things, but along the way, we build something even bigger: community. We build alongside people who make us feel welcome. We share what we know, learn from each other, lend a hand, and create spaces where people can show up as themselves and feel like they belong. That community doesn’t happen by accident. It takes people, time, tools, and resources to create the spaces where connection, learning, and belonging can happen. Dykes With Drills is a grassroots community powered by volunteers, instructors, participants, and supporters. Through hands-on workshops, community builds, meetups, retreats, and volunteer opportunities, we create places for people to learn new skills, build confidence, connect with others, and contribute what they know. Now, we’re asking our community to help us build what comes next. Our goal is to raise $50,000 through our Building Community Together campaign. Every contribution helps strengthen the foundation that makes Dykes With Drills possible and allows us to continue creating safe, inclusive spaces where people can learn, connect, and build together. If DWD has ever given you a place to belong, helped you learn something new, connected you with people who became friends, or reminded you that you have something valuable to contribute, please consider making a gift. One person. One gift. One connection at a time, we can build community together. Thank you for being part of Dykes With Drills and for helping us build what comes next.
