Shaping Minds: Free Youth Enrichment Program The goal of the Shaping Minds Youth Program is to provide free educational and enrichment opportunities for children and families in our community. We want to give local youth something positive, creative, and meaningful to do while providing parents with accessible programs where their children can learn, explore, and grow. By keeping these classes completely free of charge, we can ensure they remain open and accessible to families of all income levels. Every child deserves the opportunity to discover their interests, develop new skills, and experience a well-rounded education. These programs can help create a stable, supportive environment where young people are encouraged to learn, create, build confidence, and flourish. Free Youth Art Classes &mdash; $2,000 annually We will offer free art classes using a variety of mediums, allowing children to experience many different forms of creativity and self-expression. Funding will help provide paint, canvases, drawing materials, craft supplies, and other hands-on materials throughout the year. Estimated annual supply cost: $2,000 Free Youth Music Classes &mdash; $2,000 annually Music classes will introduce children to the joy and benefits of music. Funding will provide instruments and supplies so youth can explore different types of music and discover instruments they may wish to continue pursuing in school and beyond. Estimated annual supply cost: $2,000 Seasonal Baking &amp; Cookie Decorating &mdash; $1,000 annually Four times each year, we will host free themed baking and cookie-decorating events for local youth and families. Cookies will be generously donated, while funding will help cover frosting, toppings, decorations, baking supplies, and other materials. Events may include seasonal themes and special guest decorators. Estimated annual expense: $1,000 Free Youth Pottery Classes &mdash; $1,000 annually Children will have the opportunity to learn through hands-on experiences with clay. Pottery classes will encourage creativity, patience, problem-solving, and artistic expression while allowing youth to create something of their own. Estimated annual supply cost: $1,000 Total Estimated Annual Program Cost: $6,000 Through Shaping Minds, we hope to remove financial barriers and give every child in our community the opportunity to participate, learn, and discover new passions.
