On behalf of the South Louisiana Council,&nbsp;we are deeply grateful for your support and generosity. &nbsp;As a donor, over 99% of your donation will stay here locally to help us achieve our mission to strengthen our community and families through Scouting.&nbsp; &nbsp;By using Zeffy, there are no credit card processing fees on your gift, the tip requested on this platform is optional and able to be adjusted at checkout. &nbsp;&nbsp;For more than 100 years, Scouting is the leadership factory throughout our nation. &nbsp;From our family based Cub Scout program, to ScoutsBSA Troops that allow the youth to lead and work through conflict resolution using the patrol method, to our high adventure experiences, or exploring career opportunities in a hands-on environment, we are blessed to provide pathways to change any young persons stars.&nbsp; &nbsp;This is more than an appeal for financial support&mdash;it&rsquo;s an investment in our future. In addition to National membership fees and basic registration costs, it cost just under $700 a year per youth to provide the high-quality programs, maintain camp properties, local scout service centers/shops, and offer essential volunteer training that make Scouting the transformative youth development program that it is.&nbsp;&nbsp;Through fundraisers, special events, and annual giving campaigns, we will raise half of that.&nbsp; &nbsp;Every gift is significant and impactful; Please consider matching our board members annual request of $3,000. &nbsp;If you are not able to give at that level right now, please consider a monthly gift of $100 or $50. &nbsp;At $30 a month, you can also help split the cost of providing Scouting to one youth this year with a gift of $350.&nbsp; &nbsp;Thank you so much for helping us pass it on.&nbsp; &nbsp;How you can help power our mission:<ol fr-original-style="" style="width: 100%; box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Donate: Every dollar counts.
