Scouting America

Scouting America empowers youth through leadership development, community service, and adventure-based programs. Our mission is to strengthen families and communities by providing transformative experiences that shape future leaders.

Join us for The Toast of Kyle Edmiston which keeps the tradition of identifying community members who embody Scouting values and celebrating them. This year, we are honoring Kyle Edmiston, President/CEO of Visit Lake Charles. This event features a grand bourbon tasting, with exclusive access to hard-to-find, high-end bourbon samples that, in many cases, are not even available for purchase. The evening will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres and plenty of non-alcoholic options, and a social atmosphere to enjoy with friends while supporting Scouting. The program will feature Kyle’s story and accomplishments, updates on your local Scouting program, and an auction. Plus, maybe a surprise or two. All proceeds benefit youth throughout the South Louisiana Council. We invite you to support our event by selecting one of our sponsorship opportunities, including $15,000 for Presenting Sponsor, $10,000 for Diamond Sponsor, $7,500 for Platinum Sponsor, $5,000 for Gold Sponsor, $2,500 for Silver Sponsor, or $1,000 for Bronze Sponsor. If you are unable to sponsor at this time, we would still greatly appreciate your support—please consider making a donation in any amount. We are excited to use our new Zeffy account for our The Toast of Kyle Edmiston, part of the PUSH for Scouting Signature Event Series. One of the great benefits of using Zeffy is that 100% of your donation goes directly to our organization. While Zeffy does ask donors to consider adding a voluntary “tip” to help cover their processing and hosting costs, this amount is completely customizable by you at checkout and can even be set to $0.
