Help rescue, rehabilitate, and protect endangered chimpanzees and gorillas in Central Africa through veterinary medicine and conservation.🦍 Gabon is home to one of the world's largest remaining populations of great apes, including the Central Chimpanzee and the Western Lowland Gorilla. Yet these iconic species continue to face serious threats from wildlife trafficking, illegal hunting, habitat loss, disease, and increasing human pressure. Many rescued young apes are left orphaned and require years of specialised veterinary care and rehabilitation before they can safely return to the wild. At Wild Spirit USA, we work with trusted conservation partners to protect great apes through veterinary medicine, rescue, rehabilitation, scientific collaboration, and community-based conservation.
