Help Gus Breathe, Eat & Thrive 🐾 Gus has already fought one tough battle. This sweet puppy recently survived Parvo but we're not out of the woods yet. Gus has a soft palate defect that causes him to aspirate, which means food, liquid, or saliva can enter his airway instead of going where it should. This isn't something he can simply outgrow. He needs surgery to correct the defect and give him the chance at a healthy, happy life. And here's the hard part: Pawfect Match is already carrying significant medical debt from the many puppies, including his litter mates that have been treated for an array of illnesses from shelters when coming into the rescue. But when a puppy like Gus needs us, we don't give up because the timing is hard.We take the medical cases. We take the complicated cases. We take the dogs who need a little more than an easy rescue story. Now we're asking our community to help us give Gus what he needs. ❤️ Will you help us get Gus to surgery?Whether you can give $5, $10, $25, $50 or more, every donation gets Gus one step closer to the surgery that could change his entire future. And if you can't donate, sharing his story is just as important. Someone in your circle may be the person who helps Gus get there. Let's get this little guy from surviving to thriving. 🐾 Donate for Gus. Share for Gus. Fight for Gus. *Important Note: If the surgery doesn't reach the $5,000.00 estimate we will use anything above the cost of surgery that we raised to pay off the Parvo treatment him and his siblings received.
