A white spotted dog curls up on a yellow patterned blanket inside a metal cage.

This baby girl came into one of our partner veterinary clinics after being hit by a car.Her X-rays showed devastating damage to one of her legs, likely where she took the brunt of the impact. Unfortunately, the leg cannot be saved, and she will need an amputation. The good news is that she already has a medical foster ready to care for her through surgery and recovery. Now we need help covering the cost of the care that will get her there. Her amputation is expected to cost approximately $1,400–$1,700, with additional expenses for medications, follow-up appointments, and anything else she may need along the way.She is still just a puppy with so much life ahead of her. Losing a leg does not mean losing her chance at a happy, active future — it just means she needs a little extra help getting there.Once she has recovered, she will also need a foster or foster-to-adopt family to help her take the next step toward forever.Every donation, no matter the amount, helps Northern Lakes Rescue provide her with the surgery and care she needs.Thank you for helping us say yes to her. 🐾❤️
