We have a GOLIATH Request. &nbsp;But first&hellip;.an honest to goodness heart wrenching miracle in the making. I said &ldquo;no&rdquo; twice. The ER vet called at 9:00 this morning. &nbsp;Kismet was not doing well. &nbsp;She was listless and had not eaten for 2 days. Blood sugar was fluctuating between 30-40. &nbsp;(Normal is 80-120). &nbsp;Temperature was 95 - even wrapped in warm blankets with temperature up in room. The vet asked permission to help her pass. I said no&hellip;not yet. I spent the next 90 minutes reaching out for some last ditch efforts and called the vet back. &nbsp;Before I could even speak she told me Kismet was &ldquo;actively dying&rdquo; and wanted to help her along. I said &ldquo;no&rdquo;. &nbsp;Not until her foster Jackie could hold her while she passed. The vet said she won&rsquo;t last that long. &nbsp;I replyed Jackie would be there in 18 minutes. I spent the next 30 minutes crying on the car. At 12:43 pm Jackie calls me from the ER. &nbsp; And this is the miracle&hellip;. When Jackie entered the isolation room and Kismet heard her voice&hellip;this little girl found the strength to roll over, get up and walk across the exam table and climb up Jackie&rsquo;s arm and just settled herself in her chest. &nbsp; The nurses were stunned. &nbsp;They called the vet in to witness. &nbsp;The vet was speechless. Nowhere in any books can this be explained. &nbsp;Only hearts can understand. Kismet continued to rebound (as much as possible with her frail body) and then proceeded to eat 10 mls of food. &nbsp;Shortly thereafter her blood glucose had risen to 68 and her temperature was normal. I said &ldquo;she is still with us&rdquo;? The response was a resounding &ldquo;yes&rdquo;&hellip;.and I cried all over again. Kismet is a little 1lb warrior. &nbsp;She has now spent 3 nights at the ER hooked up to IV&rsquo;s and receiving fluids and glucose drips. We are not out of the woods but we are heading in the right direction. Last night her sister BEAN was admitted to the same ER. &nbsp;BEAN also began exhibiting a decline from panleukopenia (kitty parvo). &nbsp;We were not going to take any chances and wait for her to crash too. &nbsp;Not on my watch. First and foremost is the survival of these babies - especially KISMET who is the most vulnerable. &nbsp;We need her to stabilize and it may take another 2 days in the ER before we can get her there. But today we witnessed a miracle that even the doctors could not explain. KISMET is a warrior. &nbsp;We will fight right alongside of her and we will fight for her. So here it is. You guys have always been there for us. &nbsp;ALWAYS. &nbsp;But now we need you more than ever. It&rsquo;s a Goliath request. &nbsp;We need to raise at least $6,500 (actual bill forthcoming) to continue our fight. We have over 18,000 wonderful followers. &nbsp;If just 1/3 contributed just a dollar we could reach our goal. I am begging for KISMET &amp; BEAN.
