Alafia! Odunde means "the new year has come," and on Saturday, June 6, 2026, we are bringing the Yorùbá New Year to Leimert Park Plaza, the cultural heart of Black Los Angeles. Building on last year's Yoruba Cultural Fair, Odunde Festival 2026 is our full celebration: a Main Stage of drummers, dancers, and the Najite Masquerade; the Balogun Market of food and vendors; a Kids Zone; a Teacher's Tent for language and history; and a new STEM Hub with STEMnetics. We are raising $8,000 to keep the festival free and open to everyone. Your gift covers premium staging, city permits, youth programming, and world-class traditional performers. Just as Chinese New Year, Diwali, and Nowruz anchor their communities, we are building a lasting Yorùbá institution in Los Angeles for our children to inherit. Because we use Zeffy, 100% of your gift reaches the mission. You are helping pass on the gift our ancestors gave us. Many hands make the load light. Ẹ ṣé for standing with us.
