Beit Ahavah began in 1998 in a living room by a dedicated group who joined the vision of a rabbi&rsquo;s daughter with her husband who sought to build an inclusive Reform Jewish community in the greater Northampton area. This small group developed a vision of a warm and welcoming progressive, Reform Jewish community where worship and study would be spiritually and musically enlivening, meaningful and embodying foundational Jewish teachings about ahavah (love) and tikkun olam (repair of the world), and would impact the broader Jewish community to push boundaries and evolve towards inclusion, welcoming, expressive arts and progressive values.
