In 2024, our choir students had the extraordinary opportunity to perform Mozart&rsquo;s Requiem Mass at Lincoln Center with DCINY. We are honored to have been invited back, this time to sing at Carnegie Hall as part of Total Vocal: Holiday Edition, led by acclaimed a cappella conductor Deke Sharon. This concert celebrates the holiday season through a cappella music drawn from Disney classics, Broadway, and the American pop tradition. For some of our students, this trip represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform on one of the world&rsquo;s most prestigious stages. Others will return having already experienced the life-changing impact of performing in New York City in 2024. In addition to the Carnegie Hall performance and reception, the trip includes visits to the Museum of Modern Art, the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, and The Lion King on Broadway.
