We&rsquo;re launching our annual fundraiser to provide scholarships&nbsp;for our week-long music camp for teenagers. Teen Camp is one of the most impactful programs we offer at Community Music School of Santa Cruz.&nbsp; Here are some reasons why kids love Teen Camp:&nbsp;<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="box-sizing:inherit;" style="box-sizing:inherit;">Teens immerse themselves in music for a full week, surrounded by nature.</li><li fr-original-style="box-sizing:inherit;" style="box-sizing:inherit;">They build friendships with peers who share their passion.</li><li fr-original-style="box-sizing:inherit;" style="box-sizing:inherit;">They learn from incredible teachers, growing as musicians and individuals.</li><li fr-original-style="box-sizing:inherit;" style="box-sizing:inherit;">They leave inspired&mdash;sometimes even transformed. For many, it&rsquo;s life-changing.</li><li fr-original-style="box-sizing:inherit;" style="box-sizing:inherit;">At the very least, they have an unforgettable time</li></ul> We do everything we can to keep costs manageable for families, and offer both full and partial scholarships. This year, enrollment has nearly doubled compared to last year&mdash;which is thrilling news! At the same time, scholarship requests have tripled. Unlike many nonprofits, Community Music School doesn&rsquo;t rely on federal or state grants, which means we&rsquo;ve been spared recent devastating cuts. But it also means we rely entirely on our local community. We are hyper-local:&nbsp; we serve local kids, aided by the generosity of people like you, and a few local charities. The cost of a partial scholarship is $750; the cost of a full scholarship is $1350 &ndash; but any amount helps, and makes a direct impact. With your help, we can provide scholarships to all those who&#39;ve requested them, providing kids the opportunity to share the Teen Camp experience, regardless of income level.
