Help Us Save Lives—Support Our Rescue Strut FundraiserCowley County Fire District #3 in Burden, Kansas, is launching a community fundraising campaign to raise $5,000 for the purchase of two (2)  Rescue Struts—critical equipment used in vehicle's stabilization rescue situations. The department does not currently own any vehicle stabilization struts.  These rescue struts allow our volunteer firefighters to quickly and safely secure unstable vehicles, protecting both trapped victims and first responders during life-threatening emergencies. With increasing traffic and rural response challenges, having the right tools can mean the difference between life and death. As a small, rural department made up of dedicated volunteers, we rely on the support of our community to fund specialized equipment not covered by our regular budget. Every dollar raised will go directly toward purchasing this life-saving technology.
