Once known as Spade, Hank is working through a severe illness.&nbsp;Hank was rescued from Town Of Hempstead Animal Shelter, but just a week after being in his adoptive home thriving, everything changed. Hanks kennel cough, which is unfortunately common in shelters progressed very quickly and his condition worsened. He became lethargic, struggled to breathe, and had to be rushed to emergency care, and has since been diagnosed with pneumonia. Instead of settling into his new home, he&rsquo;s been fighting for his life. Right now, his brand new adopters are &nbsp;facing unexpected emergency veterinary bills totaling $6121, including ER care, diagnostics, oxygen support, and medication.
