For the first time in twelve years, the Concert Choir of the Conservatory of Music will embark on a regional tour through Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. This Spring Break tour is more than a concert series. It is a recruiting and formation effort designed to share the beauty of sacred music and the culture of New Saint Andrews College with churches, schools, and families throughout the Pacific Northwest. Through concerts, clinics, school visits, and fellowship in Christian homes, our students will serve as living testimonies to the integration of faith, learning, and musical excellence. I am pleased to inform you that, for the first time in twelve years, a chamber ensemble from the NSA Concert Choir will be embarking on a tour.&nbsp; We hope that this will become a regular part of the musical life at NSA, not just a one-time event. It is our plan to tour different parts of the country to share NSA and its music culture with others. This year&rsquo;s tour through the Pacific Northwest will take place over spring break, from Friday, March 13, to Saturday, March 21, 2026.&nbsp; 9 days, 7 cities, 3 states, and dozens of church and school communities with stops in Washington (Wenatchee, Lynden, Bothell, Centralia), Oregon (Gladstone, Enterprise), and Idaho (Boise). Sometimes, choir tours are simply opportunities for choirs to travel and concertize. These are usually quite enjoyable and create fond memories. While we will travel and concertize on our tour and hope to have an enjoyable experience with lasting memories, the NSA Choir Tour is more about sharing NSA with others around the country.&nbsp; In addition to the concerts, we will have the opportunity to do choir clinics, have recruiting meetings with students, meetings with music teachers &amp; administrators, home stays &amp; fellowship meals, etc. The concerts will present truth, goodness, and beauty to the audience, and the home stays and fellowship opportunities will allow NSA students to experience the homes and lives of other Christians. We think this combination can be one of the most powerful advertisements for NSA: its purpose, its culture, and its people. The concert theme, entitled &quot;Sing for Joy,&quot; is a reference to Psalm 67:4. It is structured to showcase how music is an integral part of life at NSA, including Convocation &amp; Commencement, Concerts &amp; Choral Festivals, Banquets &amp; Bach&rsquo;s Lunches, and the Music Colloquium &amp; Conservatory of Music.&nbsp; Tours are fun, and tours are a lot of work.
