For 11 years, Chris Vachio has created a place where adaptive athletes can test themselves in all the same heavy, ridiculous ways the rest of us get to “enjoy.” America’s Strongest Adaptive Athlete is built exclusively for athletes with physical disabilities. Events are adjusted when needed and equipment is made to work for the athletes – including what Vachio affectionately calls the World’s Strongest Wheelchair. Vachio also happens to be one of our judges at Star City Strongman this year. He promotes multiple competitions of his own and occasionally hosts what we’ll call the Annual Day of the Questionably-Shaped Implement. (IYKYK) Awesome ideas involving heavy objects aren't cheap. That's why we’re raising money through our Iron Fund to support year 12 of America's Strongest Adaptive Athlete.
