Abualhaj and Ji act as co directors of the series, assuming performance and administrative roles and working closely with musicians of the SF-based contemporary ensemble Stolen Time. Parallax Concerts&rsquo;s launch concert took place at Saint Joseph&rsquo;s Arts Society on July 27, 2024 and attracted over 120 people in attendance, featuring a program containing J.S. Bach&rsquo;s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 on historical instruments alongside the premiere and commission of a new work &ldquo;Gauze and Particulate&rdquo; by Taylor Joshua Rankin.
