🌟 Please consider helping your local farmworkers in these desperate times.🌟 Latino Unidos Del Condado De Sonoma&nbsp;has been organizing on behlaf of the farmworker community of Sonoma County since 1966 with programs such asEl Jardin del Pueblo &ndash; Community Farm, a farmworker-led initiative addressing food insecurity and economic hardship in Sonoma County. For the first time in decades, Sonoma County is experiencing a significant downturn in the wine industry&mdash;an industry that has long been a primary source of employment and economic stability for local farmworkers. As vineyard owners reduce production, remove vines, or shut down operations entirely, farmworkers are facing widespread layoffs and reduced work opportunities. Many of these workers have dedicated decades of their lives to cultivating andharvesting the grapes that sustain the region&rsquo;s economy. The impact has been immediate and severe. Food insecurity among farmworker families isgreater than ever. Households that once relied on steady seasonal or year-round vineyard employment are now struggling to cover basic necessities, including rent, utilities, and groceries. For El Jard&iacute;n del Pueblo, farmworkers, despite their struggles, dedicate their time and labor to growing fresh, organic produce to feed families in need. Since 2022, El Jardin del Pueblo has expanded from a 2-acre farm to a multi-site operation. We know that change starts with people like you.
