PANDO FOUNDATION

Inspiring Growth. Igniting Purpose.

One Ranch. Many Lives. One Shared Purpose.

With new ownership and operation at Iron Oak Canyon Ranch, this remarkable property is becoming more than a ranch.

It is becoming a cornerstone of the PANDO Foundation mission—a place where animals and people can find connection, purpose, opportunity, and a place to belong.

Iron Oak Canyon Ranch provides the physical foundation where so much of our work can come together under one roof.

It is a home for horses who have needed another chance.

It is a sanctuary for animals requiring patience, rehabilitation, specialized attention, and continued care.

It is a place where children can step away from the pressures of everyday life, put their hands on a horse, get their boots dirty, learn responsibility, and discover just how capable they really are.

And it is a place where individuals who require additional support—including those facing mobility challenges or needing a more individualized experience—can be welcomed with dignity, patience, and an opportunity to participate at their own pace.

THIS IS MORE THAN A RANCH.

We envision Iron Oak Canyon Ranch as a place where barriers become smaller and possibilities become bigger.

Sometimes creating meaningful changes doesn't always require thousands of people.

Sometimes it just begins We're just 1000

A NEW CHAPTER AT IRON OAK CANYON RANCH

A new chapter is beginning.

KEEP THE GATES OPEN

A Community Campaign for Iron Oak Canyon Ranch & PANDO Foundation

We Saved the Ranch. Now Help Us Bring It Back to Life.

There was a time when childhood meant getting outside.

Getting dirty.

Meeting a horse for the first time.

Helping feed an animal.

Learning how to build something with your hands.

Hanging around with people from your community.

Putting down the phone, stepping away from everything happening in the world, and simply being a kid.

Those memories helped shape generations.

We believe our children deserve them too.

That is why PANDO Foundation has made a commitment:

WE INTEND TO KEEP THESE GATES OPEN.

More than $235,000 has already been raised to help save Iron Oak Canyon Ranch and this equestrian center.

That incredible support gave this property another chance.

But saving the land was only the beginning.

Now we have to give it life ONCE AGAIN

OUR VISION

Our vision is to transform Iron Oak Canyon Ranch into an extraordinary community resource center where children, families, animals, individuals requiring additional support, volunteers, first responders, community organizations, and people from every walk of life can come together.

A place where a child can meet a horse for the first time.

A place where young people can learn responsibility, patience, leadership, teamwork, and compassion.

A place where individuals facing mobility challenges or requiring additional assistance can experience animals, nature, connection, and participation with dignity.

A place where a horse needing a soft landing can finally find one.

A place where families can create the kinds of memories many of us remember from our own childhoods.

A place where people who may otherwise never meet can stand side by side and work toward something good.

One ranch. One community. Thousands of possibilities.

LOOK AT WHO HAS ALREADY SHOWN UP.

Something extraordinary has already begun happening at Iron Oak Canyon Ranch.

People have walked through these gates from completely different backgrounds and become part of the same mission.

We have welcomed incredible volunteers.

We have had churches come alongside us.

We have worked alongside members of San Diegos Finest SDPD

We have welcomed experienced horsemen and women from the equestrian community.

We have had tradespeople, professionals, neighbors, families and individuals simply willing to roll up their sleeves and work.

And perhaps most importantly, we have welcomed people who had never even touched a horse before.

They came to volunteer.

They stayed because they discovered something here.

Connection.

That is what we want Iron Oak Canyon Ranch to represent.

Not just horses.

Not just a ranch.

A community.

NOW WE NEED HELP.

The gates are open.

The horses are here.

The people are showing up.

The vision is alive.

But there is so much more work to do.

WE NEED A SAFE PLACE FOR OUR HORSES.

Some of the horses coming into our care need more than somewhere to stand.

They need a soft landing.

They need safe stalls and appropriate living environments.

They need quality feed and nutrition.

They need veterinary attention.

They need farrier care.

They need rehabilitation.

They need patience.

And sometimes they simply need someone willing to say:

“You are safe here.”

WE NEED TO BRING LIFE BACK TO THIS RANCH.

There are fences to repair.

Stalls and animal areas to improve.

Community spaces to build.

Accessibility improvements to make.

Youth areas to develop.

Educational programs to create.

Feed to purchase.

Medical needs to address.

Equipment and supplies to obtain.

And acres of opportunity waiting to be transformed.

We are not asking the community simply to maintain a ranch.

We are asking people to help us build a resource that can serve generations.

HELP US GIVE CHILDHOOD BACK.

We want children to remember their first horse.

Their first pair of dirty boots.

The first time they carried a bucket that felt almost too heavy.

The first time an animal trusted them.

The first time somebody told them:

“I need your help.”

And the moment they realized:

“I can do this.”

Those moments matter.

For some children, they can change the direction of a life.

Iron Oak Canyon Ranch can become a place where young people aren't defined by where they came from, what they have experienced, or the challenges standing in front of them.

Here, they can simply be given an opportunity.

A PLACE FOR EVERYBODY

This mission extends beyond children.

We want to create meaningful opportunities for individuals who require additional care and support, including people facing mobility challenges.

We want families to feel welcome.

We want veterans and first responders to find connection.

We want volunteers to discover purpose.

We want experienced equestrians teaching someone who has never held a lead rope.

We want generations learning from one another.

And we want animals who once needed someone to save them to someday become part of someone else's story.

That is the Iron Oak Canyon Ranch we are building.

$235,000 HELPED SAVE THE RANCH.NOW HELP US BUILD ITS FUTURE.

This next chapter will take much more than one person, one organization, or one community.

That is why we are taking this campaign beyond San Diego.

We are asking people across California and across the country:

HELP US KEEP THE GATES OPEN.

Donate $10.

Give $25.

Sponsor a bale of hay.

Help with veterinary care.

Sponsor a horse.

Sponsor a child's ranch experience.

Give $100 and become part of THE PANDO 1000.

Become a monthly donor.

Become a corporate sponsor.

Donate materials.

Donate professional services.

Volunteer.

Fund a project.

Or simply share our story with someone who can help.

There is a place in this mission for everyone.

THE NEXT GENERATION IS WATCHING.

We have an opportunity to create something special at Iron Oak Canyon Ranch.

Something bigger than a horse facility.

Something bigger than PANDO.

A living community resource where animals help people, people help animals, adults mentor young people, strangers become volunteers, and children are given the freedom to make memories that can last a lifetime.

We have already seen what happens when a community decides something is worth saving.

More than $235,000 has already helped us reach this moment.

A child may come here simply wanting to meet a horse and leave having discovered confidence.

An individual struggling with mobility may discover a new way to experience movement, connection, and independence.

A horse that once needed help can become part of helping someone else.

A young person searching for direction can discover responsibility and purpose through caring for another living being.

And families can find a place to reconnect with animals, nature, and one another.

That is what makes Iron Oak Canyon Ranch such an important cornerstone of what PANDO Foundation is building.

NOW WE'RE ASKING OUR COMMUNITY TO HELP US BUILD THE NEXT CHAPTER.

We are launching:

THE PANDO 1000

1000 PEOPLE × $100 = $100,000 OF IMMEDIATE IMPACT

Funds raised through THE PANDO 1000 will help support the programs, animals, supplies, care, accessibility efforts, youth opportunities, and infrastructure necessary to continue developing Iron Oak Canyon Ranch as a home for the PANDO Foundation mission.

Our work includes:

HORSES WITH A SECOND CHANCE
Providing appropriate care, nutrition, rehabilitation, veterinary attention, safe living environments, and continued quality of life.

A SAFE PLACE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
Creating hands-on opportunities where children and young people can develop confidence, accountability, compassion, leadership, and purpose through animals and ranch life.

INDIVIDUALIZED & ACCESSIBLE EXPERIENCES
Working toward an environment where individuals requiring additional assistance or facing mobility challenges can experience animals, nature, community, and meaningful participation with dignity and appropriate support.

COMMUNITY & EDUCATION
Creating opportunities for families, volunteers, community organizations, public-service partners, and young people to learn, participate, serve, and grow together.

ONE PROPERTY.MANY LIVES.ONE SHARED PURPOSE.

Iron Oak Canyon Ranch gives this mission something incredibly important:

A HOME.

But a home becomes meaningful because of what happens inside it.

We are asking our community to help us fill this home with opportunity.

Become one of THE PANDO 1000.

Give $100.

Sponsor a spot for someone else.

Become a business partner.

Give what you can.

Or simply share our story.

Because sometimes changing a life doesn't begin with something enormous.

Sometimes it begins with 100 people deciding that something is worth believing in.
