Help write a new chapter of Franco-American friendship in Austin. As the United States celebrates its 250th anniversary and Austin Angers Sister Cities marks its own modest milestone of 15 years, we are collaborating with Austin’s francophile community on a book celebrating Franco-American friendship. Together, we wish to explore the history that connects us, the relationships we share today, and the possibilities ahead. Through music, cinema, and more, this book invites you to discover Austin from a fresh perspective. It spotlights the institutions working to pass on cultural heritage and explores the rise of new technologies. Along the way, delicious culinary interludes offer small stopovers on this journey through the city. We hope these pages will inspire you to look at Austin differently, and perhaps rediscover it for yourself. Your donation helps bring this collaborative book project to life by helping cover printing and design costs. We invite you to donate toward the printing and design of this book celebrating Austin’s French heritage and Franco-American friendship.
