Each year WSSC holds its Lighthouse Challenge Regatta. This is a fun, specialty race where we sail around the Detroit Light at the mouth of the Detroit River at Lake Erie. After the race we meet at Grosse Ile Township Recreation Water&rsquo;s Edge Pavilion for a picnic and a Charity Auction where all funds raised go to a chosen charity. All are welcome to join in the celebration, racer or not! 2026 Charity Partner At West Shore Sail Club, we&#39;re passionate about making a positive impact on our community.
