The Great Dream Builders Showdown!Board vs. Senior Leadership vs. JenThree Teams. One Dream. Everybody Wins! A little friendly competition is brewing at Always & Furever Midwest Animal Sanctuary! Our Board of Directors, Senior Leadership Team, and founder Jen are going head-to-head to see who can rally the most support for our We Have a Dream campaign. Every Board and Senior Leadership participant has committed to raising at least $1,000 by December 31, and Jen is taking on both teams as a one-woman fundraising powerhouse! But this challenge is about much more than winning. We're working toward a $1.4 million dream to help bring Homestead East to life, including the St. Francis Veterinary Center, peaceful Lighthouse spaces, and more room for rescued animals to heal, decompress, and simply enjoy being loved. At Always & Furever, we believe rescue can be different. No Kill. No Kennel. Rescue Reimagined. We believe peace is just as important as survival, and every animal deserves a chance to experience both. Here's How You Can Join the Fun!1. Pick your team! Choose a Board member, Senior Leadership member, or Jen to support.2. Make a donation! Every gift counts. A $250 gift makes you a Dream Builder, but donations of any amount help move us closer to our goal.3. Cheer them on! Share your favorite fundraiser's page, invite your friends, and follow along as the competition heats up.4. Watch the leaderboard! We'll be sharing updates and celebrating milestones through December 31. The winning team gets bragging rights, but the real victory is creating a better future for animals who need us. Pick your team. Make your gift. Help us build the dream!Because when we come together for the animals, everybody wins.

I’m most comfortable there—finding solutions, helping tell the animals’ stories, and working through the details that help this rescue keep moving forward.Every piece of that work comes back to a life. An animal who needs someone to notice them, care about what happens to them, and give them a chance. That is my why. I believe an older dog deserves a soft place to rest and someone who is happy to see them wake up. A frightened animal deserves patience and time to feel safe. An animal who is sick deserves care, comfort, and someone willing to try. Their needs may be different, but their lives matter equally. Always & Furever gives me a way to put those beliefs into action. What means so much to me is the care given to the life an animal gets to live after being rescued. The ordinary, beautiful things: a full belly, a comfortable bed, a walk, a friend, the freedom to relax because nothing scary is coming. They deserve those things while they wait for a family. They deserve them if their time is short. And they deserve them if sanctuary becomes their home. The dream I’m helping support is a future where more animals can have that kind of life. Where there is room to welcome them, care to help them heal, and people committed to seeing them through. I put my time, my skills, and my heart into A&F because I want to help make that possible. This fundraiser is another way I can contribute, and I’m asking you to join me. If you’re able, please make a donation through my page. Whatever amount feels right for you will help support Always & Furever’s work and the dream we’re building together. Somewhere, there is an animal who has yet to know what safety and love feel like. I want us to be there when they need us.
