Students currently attending Zad Community Educational Centre and Rowad Educational Centre are experiencing the following:<ul><li>Lack of Resources: Classrooms are overcrowded with inadequate seating—some students sit on random chairs or without desks. Many lack whiteboards, forcing teachers to rely on printed materials or teach with their hands.</li><li>Poor Infrastructure: Many schools are in unfinished buildings with no proper flooring, fans, or air conditioning. Some have exposed wires, creating hazards for children, and classrooms are often too small to fit more than 10 students.</li><li>No Clean Water: Basic necessities like drinking water are often unavailable, leaving students without hydration for the entire school day.</li><li>Underpaid, Overworked Teachers: Teachers, many of whom are paid as little as 3,000 EGP ($59.73 USD) a month, lack desks and proper teaching resources, making it nearly impossible for them to support their students effectively.</li><li>Financial Barriers: Many families cannot afford school fees or basic supplies like books, pens, and backpacks, especially children displaced by conflict.</li></ul><p style="font-style:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:400;letter-spacing:normal;text-align:start;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;white-space:normal;word-spacing:0px;-webkit-text-stroke-width:0px;text-decoration:none;margin:0px;line-height:1.5;box-sizing:inherit;max-width:100%">The need for urgent intervention is clear.
